Once upon a time there lived a king. This king announced through his country: "The one who tells such a lie that I say "It's a lie" will get the half of my realm."

A shepherd came and said: "Long live the king! My father had such a bludgeon that he could reach to the sky and mix the stars with it".

"Maybe", answered the king, "My grandfather had such a chiboukh that when he put the one end into his mouth, the other one lighted with the sun".

The shepherd scratched his head and went away.

A tailor came and said: "Forgive me, my king! I am a little late, I was to come yesterday. But it was raining hard yesterday, the lightning broke out and the sky burst, so I went to mend it".

"Good job!" said the king, "but you didn't mend it properly. It was raining again this morning". The tailor also went away.

A poor peasant came in with a sack under his arm.

"What do you want?", asked the king

"You owe me a sack of gold, so I've come to take it home."

"What?", exclaimed the king, "I don't owe you a sack of gold, it's a lie!"

"If it is a lie, then give me the half of your realm."

"No, no! you are right." The king changed his mind.

"If I am right, then give me a sack of gold."
